Description

  • Own the full P&L, pacing, reporting, operations, and profitability for Insurance YouTube campaigns.
  • Build, optimize, and scale campaigns directly in Google Ads, including campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, budget allocation, conversion events, targeting, exclusions, and testing.
  • Develop and execute multi-vertical growth strategies across insurance products and expand into new insurance and financial services verticals.
  • Create and manage campaigns that drive both leads and inbound calls, optimizing for call quality, conversion rates, advertiser feedback, and downstream monetization.
  • Own creative strategy from a performance perspective, including messaging angles, hooks, offer positioning, format selection, and testing priorities.
  • Partner with creative, analytics, sales, product, and leadership teams to align on performance insights and decisions.
  • Build repeatable operating systems and playbooks for video buying, creative testing, audience expansion, and call-based campaign scaling.
  • Communicate performance, insights, and recommendations clearly and proactively to stakeholders and executives on a daily basis.
  • Use AI and self-serve tools to accelerate creative testing and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Build and lead a video-first team as investment and scale increase.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing high-growth performance marketing portfolios.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and scaling YouTube, Meta, TikTok, or other video-first portfolios with budgets of $20M+ per year.
  • Proven success scaling performance video in at least one major lead gen niche such as affiliate, call-based, insurance, financial services, health, or marketplace.
  • Deep hands-on experience in Google/YouTube Ads architecture, bidding, audience strategy, conversion events, and analytics.
  • Strong experience living in-platform and building campaigns directly, including campaign architecture, budget pacing, daily optimization, and testing design.
  • Strong grasp of affiliate lead generation, monetization dynamics, advertiser quality metrics, and scaling traffic profitably across variable-payout partner ecosystems.
  • Experience buying across multiple verticals and adapting structure, audience, creative, and messaging to different customer journeys; insurance experience across auto, home, health, ACA, or Medicare is especially valuable.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker and Google Analytics, plus advanced Excel/Sheets skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, regression, correlation, and performance modeling.
  • Strong video creative judgment, including understanding YouTube ABCDs, hooks, funnel stage, audience intent, offer positioning, and trending formats.
  • Ability to move quickly on creative testing using AI and self-serve tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, CapCut, MidJourney, Gemini, VEO3, or Claude.
  • Experience owning P&L and delivering against aggressive growth and profitability goals.
  • Exceptional proactive written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting insights in Slack, Zoom, and executive-facing settings.
  • Measurement experience with MMM, incrementality, geo holdouts, or brand lift is preferred.
  • Experience in additional lead gen verticals such as personal finance, lending, credit cards, home services, or consumer subscriptions is preferred.
  • Background in regulated marketing environments such as consumer finance, insurance, or healthcare is preferred.
