Description

  • Own P&L, spend pacing, reporting, operations, profitability, and growth targets for Insurance YouTube campaigns.
  • Manage campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, budget allocation, conversion events, targeting, exclusions, and testing directly in Google Ads.
  • Build and optimize campaigns that drive both leads and inbound calls while improving call quality, lead quality, advertiser quality, margin, and ROAS.
  • Develop creative strategy for video performance, including messaging angles, hooks, offer positioning, funnel-stage alignment, formats, and testing priorities.
  • Adapt buying strategy and messaging across insurance sub-verticals such as auto, home, health, ACA, and Medicare.
  • Expand video buying into additional channels and platforms over time, including streaming, linear TV, Meta, TikTok, and other emerging video channels.
  • Create repeatable operating systems and playbooks for video buying, creative testing, audience expansion, call-based campaigns, and multi-vertical scaling.
  • Communicate performance insights, decisions, and recommendations clearly and proactively to stakeholders and executives.
  • Collaborate across analytics, creative, sales, product, leadership, and external vendors to drive alignment and execution.
  • Build and lead a video-first team as the channel investment scales.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing high-growth performance marketing portfolios.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and scaling YouTube, Meta, TikTok, or other video-first portfolios with budgets of $20M+ per year.
  • Experience scaling performance video in at least one major lead gen niche such as affiliate, call-based, insurance, financial services, health, or marketplace.
  • Strong hands-on experience building campaigns directly in-platform rather than managing remotely.
  • Deep expertise in Google/YouTube Ads architecture, bidding, audience strategy, conversion events, and analytics.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker and Google Analytics, plus advanced Excel/Sheets skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, regression, correlation, and performance modeling.
  • Strong understanding of high-performing video creative, including YouTube ABCDs, hooks, category entry points, funnel stage, audience intent, offer positioning, and trending formats.
  • Ability to use AI and self-serve tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, CapCut, MidJourney, Gemini, VEO3, and Claude to accelerate creative testing.
  • Experience buying across multiple verticals and adapting structure, audience, creative, and messaging to different customer journeys; insurance experience in auto, home, health, ACA, or Medicare is especially valuable.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership with a track record of hitting aggressive growth and profitability goals and building scalable playbooks.
  • Exceptional proactive written and verbal communication skills for Slack, Zoom, and executive-facing updates.
  • Nice-to-have experience with MMM, incrementality, geo holdouts, or brand lift to measure video’s impact across channels.
  • Nice-to-have experience in regulated or adjacent lead gen verticals such as personal finance, lending, credit cards, home services, or consumer subscriptions.
  • Nice-to-have experience with competitive intelligence tools such as SimilarWeb, AdBeat, Ahrefs, SpyFu, or Pathmatics.
  • Nice-to-have experience building teams, mentoring channel owners, or formalizing playbooks across brands.

  • Base salary of $150,000 to $170,000 per year, paid semi-monthly.
