Description

  • Own full P&L, pacing, reporting, operations, and profitability for Insurance YouTube campaigns.
  • Manage campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, budget allocation, conversion events, targeting, exclusions, and testing directly in Google Ads.
  • Build and scale performance video campaigns across insurance verticals and expand into new insurance and financial services categories.
  • Develop campaigns that generate both leads and inbound calls while optimizing for traffic quality, monetization, and downstream performance.
  • Own creative strategy from a performance perspective, including messaging, hooks, offer positioning, formats, and testing priorities.
  • Partner with creative, analytics, sales, product, and leadership teams to align on performance insights and decisions.
  • Create repeatable operating systems and playbooks for video buying, creative testing, audience expansion, and multi-vertical scaling.
  • Communicate performance updates, insights, and recommendations clearly and frequently to stakeholders and executives.
  • Use AI and self-serve tools to accelerate creative testing and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Build and lead a video-first team as the channel and investment scale.

Requirements

  • 8+ years managing high-growth performance marketing portfolios.
  • 3+ years scaling YouTube, Meta, TikTok, or other video-first portfolios with budgets of $20M+ per year.
  • Experience scaling performance video in affiliate, call-based, insurance, financial services, health, or marketplace lead-gen niches.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Google Ads, YouTube Ads, campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, and analytics.
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker and Google Analytics.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, regression, correlation, and performance modeling.
  • Strong understanding of high-performing video creative, including YouTube ABCDs, hooks, funnel stage, audience intent, and offer positioning.
  • Experience using AI and self-serve creative tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, CapCut, MidJourney, Gemini, VEO3, or Claude.
  • Proven experience owning P&L and building repeatable playbooks that drive growth and profitability.
  • Excellent proactive written and verbal communication skills for Slack, Zoom, and executive-facing updates.
  • Experience buying across multiple verticals at once, especially insurance products such as auto, home, health, ACA, and Medicare.
  • Preferred experience with MMM, incrementality, geo holdouts, or brand lift measurement.
  • Preferred background in personal finance, lending, credit cards, home services, or consumer subscriptions.
  • Preferred experience in regulated marketing environments such as consumer finance, insurance, or healthcare.
  • Preferred familiarity with competitive intelligence tools such as SimilarWeb, AdBeat, Ahrefs, SpyFu, or Pathmatics.
