Description

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts for Amazon FBA and FBM inventory using sales history, seasonality, and market trends.
  • Monitor inventory levels across Amazon fulfillment centers and identify risks of stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Create and manage replenishment plans and purchase orders with suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Analyze sell-through rates and inventory performance metrics to improve forecasting models.
  • Manage Amazon's Inventory Performance Index (IPI) and apply strategies to keep inventory healthy.
  • Coordinate with account management and operations teams on promotional calendars and product launches.
  • Reconcile Amazon inventory reports and identify discrepancies, lost inventory, or damaged inventory for reimbursement claims.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly inventory and forecast reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify slow-moving inventory and recommend remediation actions such as pricing changes, promotions, or removal orders.
  • Continuously improve forecasting accuracy through data analysis and process refinement.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of demand planning or inventory management experience.
  • Hands-on experience managing Amazon FBA inventory.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central inventory tools.
  • Experience building demand forecasting models.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, forecasting formulas, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to interpret sales trends and inventory data.
  • Experience managing large SKU catalogs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced English communication skills (C1), written and verbal.
  • Experience with inventory management or ERP software such as Inventory Planner, SoStocked, or NetSuite (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Amazon Restock tool, FBA capacity limits, and storage fee structures (preferred).
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central replenishment processes (preferred).
  • Knowledge of international logistics and freight coordination (preferred).
  • Experience managing seasonal or promotional demand spikes on Amazon (preferred).
  • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI (preferred).
