Description

  • Develop solutions for current and future visualizations that increase user engagement and audience growth.
  • Gather, analyze, and communicate feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to shape product requirements.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI/interaction design teams to create user experiences and support monetization efforts.
  • Work with third parties, strategic partners, and cross-functional internal teams to expand AccuWeather’s reach and feature set.
  • Monitor product performance and respond to issues or challenges as they arise.
  • Manage development sprints, prioritize product enhancements, and address technical debt.
  • Lead a scrum team of engineers and product designers to execute plans efficiently.
  • Ensure data integrity from data source through display to maintain accuracy and relevancy.
  • Produce and review product requirement documents.
  • Own projects end to end from requirements definition through design, development, launch, and post-launch analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of product management experience.
  • Experience working with web and app platforms and frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of digitally distributed products and technology.
  • Experience writing detailed product requirements, including wireframes, criteria, and business cases.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with product, design, and development teams at all levels and in distributed staffing models.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to balance tactical execution and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to prioritize work based on strategic evaluation of goals and implications.
  • Proven leadership experience, including communication with team members and upper management.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Creative, curious, and adaptable, with the ability to work within practical boundaries and in a rapidly changing environment.
