Description

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for climate-related products and support the development of next-generation climate services.
  • Establish and manage scientific goals through rapid prototyping and development in a cloud-based environment.
  • Research the competitive landscape, including underlying data, platform capabilities, and pricing.
  • Create and maintain the roadmap for new features and releases within Climate Services.
  • Partner with the Design team to apply UX/UI best practices to client-facing outputs.
  • Define the strategy for integrating Climate Services into AccuWeather’s B2B product environment.
  • Support Sales and Business teams in defining pricing strategy for Climate Services.
  • Participate in client and prospective customer meetings as the product voice for Climate Services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Business, Operations, Marketing, Development, and other product managers to align product integration efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Atmospheric Science, Computer Science, or a similar relevant field, or equivalent proven work experience with weather-related products.
  • Expertise in ingesting, manipulating, and analyzing weather datasets.
  • Experience supporting the creation and/or maintenance of weather-related products.
  • Experience with climate-related products is a strong differentiator.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with daily standups and routine brainstorming.
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to work on a variety of projects.
