Description

  • Serve as the CEO’s primary proxy in selected meetings, communications, and decision-making forums with discretion and authority.
  • Manage and prioritize the CEO’s calendar, correspondence, travel, and meeting preparation.
  • Prepare daily executive briefings, board materials, talking points, and other CEO-facing preparation documents.
  • Track strategic priorities and key initiatives, surfacing risks, blockers, and decisions that require CEO attention.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution on behalf of the CEO.
  • Build systems to track accountability, deadlines, action items, and decision-making across leadership teams.
  • Attend senior leadership and board-related meetings, capture follow-ups, and drive completion of commitments.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and executive-level synthesis to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Draft executive communications, internal memos, all-hands materials, and external correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
  • Maintain effective CEO office operations with confidentiality, responsiveness, and strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • MBA strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of leadership, operational, consulting, military, or strategic business experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive professional experience, including demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
  • Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, operations, business transformation, or a Chief of Staff/strategy role is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment with senior leadership exposure.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce executive-level documents, briefs, presentations, and summaries.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Ability to stay composed and effective under pressure and changing priorities.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management platforms.
  • Experience with board governance, M&A processes, strategic planning cycles, or enterprise transformation initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams without direct authority is preferred.
