Description

  • Lead end-to-end UX research across discovery, validation, and usability phases from briefing through stakeholder readout.
  • Design and conduct studies using stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, usability tests, diary studies, and co-creation workshops.
  • Synthesize research findings into journey maps, service blueprints, opportunity frameworks, and research reports tailored to client needs.
  • Evaluate AI-powered products, including trust calibration, user mental models, and failure modes, using simulation-based stimuli when appropriate.
  • Run pre-research alignment sessions to clarify assumptions, close scope gaps, and refine poorly defined briefs before fieldwork begins.
  • Translate research insights for product owners, engineering leads, program managers, and other client stakeholders.
  • Identify follow-on research opportunities and help build the case for scope extensions within ongoing engagements.
  • Mentor junior researchers and UX designers through embedded coaching on live projects.
  • Own and improve ResearchOps infrastructure, including frameworks, templates, tooling, and repeatable research processes.
  • Contribute to how the practice scopes engagements, staffs work, and communicates research value to clients.

Requirements

  • 7–11 years of hands-on UX research experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Direct experience researching enterprise or B2B products, such as SaaS, healthcare, automation, finance, or complex internal tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, including alignment sessions and working with senior client-side stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to handle ambiguous, open-ended briefs in a consultancy or agency environment.
  • Experience building research operations infrastructure, templates, frameworks, or process improvements that benefited a team.
  • Comfort working with US-based users and stakeholders across time zones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports, presentations, and facilitation.
  • Experience with AI-powered enterprise products, including copilot features, agentic tools, or LLM-integrated workflows, is preferred.
  • Exposure to regulated or high-stakes domains such as clinical surveillance, healthcare compliance, or enterprise automation is preferred.
  • Experience facilitating design sprints or co-creation workshops is preferred.
