Description

  • Own end-to-end UX design for features and workflows within RunMyJobs.
  • Design intuitive interfaces for complex enterprise automation scenarios, including job scheduling, workflow orchestration, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance user needs with technical constraints.
  • Collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, and customers to deliver high-quality experiences.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and maintain design velocity alongside engineering sprints.
  • Conduct design QA and partner with engineering to ensure implementation fidelity.
  • Plan and conduct user research such as interviews, usability tests, and observation sessions.
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and design recommendations.
  • Contribute to building Redwood’s new design system, including reusable components, patterns, guidelines, and design tokens.
  • Present design work to stakeholders, articulate design rationale, and incorporate feedback into iterations.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of UX/product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping capabilities.
  • Deep experience designing complex, data-dense enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency with Figma as the primary tool and other modern design/prototyping tools.
  • Daily hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Midjourney, or similar.
  • Experience working in agile development environments alongside engineers.
  • Strong understanding of interaction design patterns, information architecture, and visual design principles.
  • Proven ability to conduct user research and translate findings into design solutions.
  • Experience contributing to or building design systems and component libraries.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred experience designing automation, workflow, or developer tools.
  • Preferred background in enterprise software domains such as ERP, finance, IT operations, or DevOps.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, or React to collaborate effectively with engineers.
  • Experience using AI tools for design system work, such as component generation or design token automation.
  • Track record of shipping complex features in cross-functional product teams.
  • Experience with user analytics and data-driven design decisions.
  • Contributions to open-source design systems or published design work.
