Description

  • Build and scale research infrastructure, including systems, tools, programs, knowledge management, recruitment, democratization, tooling, and governance.
  • Identify, design, and implement AI-powered workflows and automations across the research and product design lifecycle.
  • Translate ambiguous cross-functional needs into scalable programs and improved ways of working.
  • Influence senior and executive stakeholders by presenting clear, decision-oriented strategic artifacts and feasibility frameworks.
  • Lead discovery workshops to identify operational gaps, forecast resource needs, and define the team’s strategic roadmap.
  • Act as an operational consultant to researchers and cross-functional stakeholders by recommending the right methods, mechanisms, and tools.
  • Own end-to-end research and strategy work streams when needed, from scoping through execution to insight delivery and application.
  • Partner with product, design, marketing, operations, and business teams to shape experiences across the customer and service ecosystem.
  • Build concept artifacts, visualizations, prototypes, and other materials that make strategic direction tangible.
  • Use AI as a force multiplier and help upskill others in AI-assisted research and co-creation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UX research, UX strategy, Research Operations, or a closely related field within a tech environment.
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling business-critical research systems that improve quality and consistency.
  • Experience working with mixed methods and choosing the right approach based on speed, rigor, and context.
  • Experience influencing senior-level stakeholders and changing significant decisions.
  • Ability to independently prototype and visualize strategic direction using concept sketches, lo-fi prototypes, service blueprints, or AI-assisted artifacts.
  • Genuine AI fluency in a research or strategy context, including practical experience applying AI in real project work.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect research to trade-offs, market context, and commercial implications.
  • Experience using AI to improve workflows, with a clear point of view on its limits and best use cases.
  • Preferred: Experience in a multidisciplinary, cross-functional UX organization or similar strategic operating environment.
