Description

  • Serve as the operational owner for reviewing, structuring, and approving complex commercial agreements.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance to design pricing proposals, discount constructs, and commercial terms.
  • Evaluate deal ROI and provide actionable recommendations to improve deal outcomes.
  • Ensure deals comply with internal policies, contractual requirements, and revenue recognition standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on deal desk processes and coach sales team members on best practices.
  • Independently manage the day-to-day execution of the deal desk function across high-value and strategic deals.
  • Build trust-based relationships with cross-functional and senior stakeholders to support deal approvals and escalations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce deal cycle time.
  • Use AI tools to speed document review, model pricing scenarios, and support deal tracking and forecasting.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting or managing a Deal Desk or Business Desk in a complex SaaS organization.
  • Strong understanding of deal structuring, pricing strategy, and commercial governance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working closely with GTM, Legal, and Finance teams on complex deal execution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deals in parallel during high-volume periods such as month-end and quarter-end.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach and the ability to balance speed with compliance.
  • Experience using approved AI tools, analytics, search, or summarization tools to support workflow efficiency is expected.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with roles varying by hub or remote scope.
  • Relevant training and certifications may be considered in compensation decisions.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $138,000 to $170,000 for San Francisco Bay Area and New York City roles, or $120,000 to $152,000 for all other U.S. locations.
