Description

  • Participate in all phases of Agile development, including planning, grooming, coding, and sprint activities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring applications, Angular interfaces, REST APIs, and loyalty platform integrations.
  • Participate in design sessions with product owners and team members to resolve acceptance criteria.
  • Build and maintain configuration and business-logic documentation.
  • Estimate task timelines and project scope accurately.
  • Develop simple, effective solutions to complex problems and recommend process improvements.
  • Coach and mentor teammates while promoting strong coding practices and patterns.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and third-party partners.
  • Work with API, batch, and queue-based processing integration points.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing applications with Java and Spring; JDK 11+ and Spring Boot preferred.
  • 3+ years of front-end web application development experience.
  • 1+ year of experience developing applications with Angular; version 10+ preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience developing RESTful JSON services.
  • Experience developing cloud-based microservices on Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
  • 1+ year of experience writing SQL multi-table queries, inserts, and updates; Oracle or PostgreSQL preferred.
  • Experience tuning SQL statements using execution plans.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with loyalty, accounting, or banking applications; message queues, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Gradle, or Bamboo preferred.
