Description

  • Build end-to-end product software, including APIs, services, data models, and user interfaces.
  • Translate client problem statements into tested, production-ready solutions.
  • Define specifications and tests before implementation and maintain repository-level agent context.
  • Review every code change delivered under your name, including AI-generated code.
  • Own automated testing, CI/CD, and failure handling for third-party dependencies.
  • Work directly in client repositories, standups, and occasionally customer calls.
  • Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex as part of daily development.
  • Improve security, cost, and architecture through automated codebase audits and quality gates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building and shipping production software in at least one modern language and stack.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals, including testing, code review, CI/CD, Git, containers, and API design.
  • Depth in one technology stack with willingness to work in unfamiliar codebases and technologies.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, schema design, and query performance.
  • Experience integrating REST, OAuth, and JSON-based third-party APIs, including retries, timeouts, and graceful degradation.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing written alongside implementation.
  • Cloud deployment experience with Docker, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code using tools such as GitHub Actions, Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Daily experience using AI coding agents with repository context and reviewing all generated changes.
  • C1-level or higher written and spoken English, with confidence explaining technical trade-offs to clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Frontend experience with React, Vue, or equivalent frameworks is preferred.
  • Experience with mobile delivery, agent tooling, production performance or cost optimization, compliance, or open-source contributions is preferred.
