Description

  • Own the reporting and visualisation product lifecycle end to end, from discovery through release and iteration.
  • Build a strong understanding of the data architecture and reporting infrastructure behind iP, partnering with data engineers and platform teams.
  • Define and manage a prioritized roadmap for reporting, dashboards, and data visualisation capabilities.
  • Work with the Product Owner to translate roadmap priorities into well-scoped delivery and smooth execution.
  • Partner with engineering on data modelling, query performance, and architecture trade-offs.
  • Own product direction for iP’s API and integrations platform capabilities.
  • Manage strategic third-party technology partnerships, including a major global technology partner.
  • Lead implementation and go-to-market for AI capabilities delivered through the partnership.
  • Own usage and cost analysis for partner-delivered products as adoption scales.
  • Develop relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to understand day-to-day sports data and reporting needs.
  • Define success metrics and use data to measure outcomes and guide product decisions.
  • Build and communicate the commercial case for roadmap investments tied to retention, expansion, and customer value.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to support go-to-market execution.

Requirements

  • Track record as a Senior Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment, owning a product area end to end.
  • Technical background in data analytics, reporting, or data visualisation tools.
  • Solid understanding of BI platforms, semantic layers, and data pipelines.
  • Comfortable working with data and backend engineers on data models, schemas, and system architecture.
  • Experience owning or contributing to API, developer platform, or integrations products.
  • Working familiarity with APIs such as REST, GraphQL, or similar integration patterns.
  • Experience managing strategic technology or platform partnerships, ideally with large global technology providers.
  • Experience taking AI-powered capabilities from implementation through to go-to-market.
  • Ability to analyze product usage and cost data to inform scaling and optimization decisions.
  • Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle, from discovery through release and iteration.
  • Experience working closely with a Product Owner or delivery lead to keep execution on track.
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical user needs into clear product requirements.
  • Customer-centric mindset with experience combining qualitative and quantitative inputs into decisions.
  • Commercial awareness of how product decisions affect revenue, retention, and customer value.
  • Proficiency using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, or similar to support discovery, research, prototyping, and decision-making.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and customer success.
  • Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and managing trade-offs across scope, quality, and time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at direct-to-customer standard.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and highly organized.
  • Prior experience owning a reporting, analytics, BI, or data visualisation product.
  • Experience working with or within professional sports organisations, clubs, federations, or leagues.
  • Familiarity with sports performance, sports science, or athlete health workflows.
