Description

  • Proactively communicate with borrowers about loan terms, servicing processes, and post-closing responsibilities.
  • Monitor borrower projects and provide support when delays or budget overruns occur.
  • Investigate and resolve post-closing questions and disputes related to servicing, payments, and loan modifications.
  • Help borrowers understand statements, payment schedules, online portal access, interest accrual, principal reduction, and payoff statements.
  • Reach out to at-risk borrowers to prevent loans from becoming delinquent or defaulting.
  • Collaborate with servicing, compliance, payment operations, special servicing, and construction teams to support a cohesive borrower experience.
  • Educate borrowers on managing projects after funding and develop helpful resources such as FAQs.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately in the system of record.
  • Escalate complex issues to management when needed and advocate for borrower needs internally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 1 year of mortgage-related collections, customer service, or sales experience.
  • Ability to explain the mortgage lifecycle and the processing steps involved.
  • Experience building relationships and working effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to understand customer issues and own issues through resolution.
  • Broad knowledge of real estate transaction methods.
  • Leadership or team-lead experience preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Excel or spreadsheet-equivalent tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of tax, escrow analysis, mortgage insurance, and hazard insurance preferred.
  • Ability to complete secure identity verification using biometric and device validation.
  • Must be eligible to work remotely in one of Kiavi’s approved hiring regions.

Benefits

  • Annual base pay range of $45,000 to $68,000 for remote work, plus a $6,000 variable bonus and benefits.
  • Free employee-only medical, dental, and vision coverage, with discounted dependent coverage.
  • Health Savings Account employer contributions of $1,000 for individual coverage and $2,000 for dependents.
  • Remote work support including a one-time up to $500 office setup reimbursement and a $85 monthly internet and phone stipend.
  • Flexible time off with no strict limits, subject to manager approval.
  • Up to 8 weeks of paid leave for medical or caregiver purposes and 12 weeks of paid maternity/paternity leave.
  • 401(k) plan with 100% company match up to 3% of compensation or $8,000, with immediate vesting.
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance plus group life and AD&D coverage.
