Description

  • Conduct telephonic screening, brief intervention, and referral for members seeking specialty mood and anxiety care.
  • Use active listening, psychoeducation, and motivational interviewing to understand member needs and support goal setting.
  • Coach members using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills as part of their care journey.
  • Identify appropriate levels of care, facilitate referrals, and coordinate with Spring Health providers.
  • Provide consultation on mental health concerns and family or relationship issues when appropriate.
  • Offer in-the-moment support and safety planning for members experiencing safety concerns, risks, or crisis.
  • Communicate with members and providers by email and document care accurately in multiple systems, including an EHR.
  • Track follow-ups and member progress within required timeframes while maintaining accurate records.
  • Identify and resolve barriers or disruptions to care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support member experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings, case consultations, trainings, onboarding, and mentoring new team members.

Requirements

  • Current independent mental health license: LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
  • Minimum 2+ years of clinical care experience with chronic and severe mood and anxiety disorders.
  • Experience with motivational interviewing, diagnostic assessment, and triage.
  • Knowledge of best practices and evidence-based treatments for mood and anxiety disorders.
  • Strong preference for experience and training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Comfortable using various computer platforms and learning new systems quickly.
  • Able to multitask and context switch effectively.
  • DBT certifications and bilingual ability are preferred.
