Description

  • Build quick prototypes and polished feature demos for new product capabilities.
  • Develop and iterate on features that expand the product’s addressable market.
  • Validate assumptions and turn promising concepts into practical, shippable solutions.
  • Work closely within a small, high-ownership team to drive innovation.
  • Own projects end to end with minimal oversight and bring them to completion.
  • Test ideas early, measure results, and iterate rapidly on new problems.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders and surface blockers as they arise.
  • Contribute to software systems using the company’s main stack and cloud infrastructure.
  • Apply system design, debugging, and problem-solving skills to challenging engineering work.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, ideally including building features from the ground up.
  • Strong ownership mindset and the ability to drive work to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Comfort with experimentation, rapid iteration, and solving open-ended problems.
  • Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Experience with Python; candidates with strong object-oriented programming backgrounds in other languages may also be considered.
  • Experience with serverless technologies such as Lambda and EC2, asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments.
  • Comfort working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
  • Bonus: experience with LLMs or generative AI.
  • Bonus: experience with distributed systems.

  • Salary range of $190k–$255k USD, with final compensation based on experience, interview performance, and location.
