Description

Build LLM-based backend solutions that process millions of insurance documents at scale.
Extract precise information from insurance documents and synthesize it into a complete view of the insured.
Work at the intersection of AI and backend engineering on core R&D problems.
Collaborate with full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers to build scalable backend solutions.
Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion with minimal oversight.
Communicate proactively with stakeholders, including surfacing blockers and keeping others informed.
Test ideas, measure results, and iterate quickly on unsolved technical problems.
Contribute individual work with outsized impact on the product and business.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience with deep Python expertise.
Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
Experience working with LLMs in production and deploying them at scale.
Fluency with coding agents and AI-assisted development tools.
Experience with AWS and serverless technologies such as Lambda and EC2.
Experience with asynchronous workflows and cloud environments.
Comfort working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
Ability to take full ownership of work and operate with minimal oversight.
Comfort with experimentation, rapid iteration, and solving novel problems.
Excitement for R&D work and tackling difficult, unsolved challenges.
