Description

  • Build LLM-based solutions that process millions of insurance documents at scale.
  • Extract precise information from insurance documents and synthesize it into a complete view of the insured.
  • Develop scalable backend solutions for core R&D work at the intersection of AI and backend engineering.
  • Collaborate with full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers on cross-functional product and infrastructure work.
  • Own projects end to end and drive them to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Test ideas, measure results, and iterate quickly on unsolved problems.
  • Surface blockers proactively and keep stakeholders informed throughout the work.
  • Contribute individual work that has a direct impact on the team’s technology and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Deep expertise in Python.
  • Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Experience working with LLMs in production and deploying them at scale.
  • Fluency with coding agents and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Experience with AWS and serverless technologies such as Lambda and EC2.
  • Experience with asynchronous workflows and cloud environments.
  • Comfort with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
  • Strong ownership, hustle, and grit.
  • Experience in R&D or solving novel problems is preferred.
