Description

Design and build API endpoints that power customer workflows.
Improve database and query performance.
Integrate the platform with a wide range of third-party services.
Translate product requirements into reliable business logic.
Diagnose and resolve customer issues.
Contribute to making the platform faster, more stable, and easier to use.
Collaborate with full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers on scalable backend solutions.
Take ownership of projects and drive work to completion with minimal oversight.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience building external-facing APIs or designing integrations with third-party systems.
Strong system design, debugging, and problem-solving fundamentals.
Proficiency in Python, the company’s main stack, or a strong background in another object-oriented language.
Experience with serverless technologies such as Lambda and EC2.
Experience with asynchronous workflows and cloud environments.
Comfort working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
Ability to communicate proactively and keep stakeholders informed.
Comfort with experimentation, rapid testing, and iteration.
Preferred: experience with LLMs or generative AI.
Preferred: experience with distributed systems.
