Description

  • Lead and grow Kalepa’s Core Product engineering team.
  • Define the architectural roadmap and overall technical strategy.
  • Set engineering standards, frameworks, and cross-functional cadences for the platform.
  • Partner closely with the executive team and cross-functional leaders on product direction and execution.
  • Drive engineering operational excellence through metrics-driven practices and robust processes.
  • Bridge product vision and technical execution to ensure technology investments deliver business impact.
  • Build and sustain a high-performance, results-driven engineering culture.
  • Recruit and retain top-tier engineering talent.
  • Oversee platform architecture and scaling across cloud, serverless, and asynchronous systems.
  • Experiment, measure results, and iterate on complex engineering problems.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of full-time engineering people management experience, ideally including managing managers and scaling organizations.
  • Proven experience leading complex, large-scale engineering initiatives.
  • Strong ability to align technical strategy with broader company objectives.
  • Excellent recruiting ability for top-tier engineering talent.
  • Ability to make tradeoffs and ship high-quality code in a fast-growing company environment.
  • Experience driving operational excellence with metrics-driven decision-making and strong engineering practices.
  • Deep architectural expertise in system design, distributed systems, and scalable infrastructure.
  • Experience overseeing platforms using serverless technologies such as Lambda and EC2, asynchronous workflows, and modern cloud environments.
  • Comfort managing both human and AI agents while maintaining quality and reliability.
