Description

  • Lead engineering efforts across patient-facing products, clinical workflows, and internal operations.
  • Partner with executives, clinical teams, and operational stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications, integrations, and automation workflows.
  • Develop and optimize AI-powered systems, agentic workflows, and business process automation.
  • Integrate with healthcare platforms, billing systems, CRMs, EMRs, and third-party vendors.
  • Support healthcare interoperability initiatives involving standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
  • Build and maintain cloud-native services and infrastructure on AWS and related platforms.
  • Ensure solutions meet healthcare security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
  • Own technical initiatives across discovery, architecture, implementation, and ongoing optimization.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced startup environment and collaborate directly with leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
  • Strong backend development experience with Python, Go, Ruby, or similar technologies.
  • Frontend experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks and tooling.
  • Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
  • Experience designing and scaling high-traffic applications and services on AWS or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience building AI-enabled products, workflows, or automation systems.
  • Experience with healthcare organizations, healthcare technology, patient-care environments, and healthcare integrations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR, and familiarity with HIPAA requirements.
  • Experience integrating EMRs, billing platforms, CRMs, marketing tools, and external data providers.
  • Familiarity with connected health ecosystems such as Apple Health, Google Health, or Oura.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with 7–8 hours of daily overlap with U.S. East Coast hours.
  • Preferred: experience with n8n or similar workflow automation platforms, SOC 2 or HITRUST, operational tooling, and venture-backed startups.
