Description

  • Execute Level I installer duties while following company documentation and installation standards.
  • Manage project and service tickets, provide timely updates, and keep work organized.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver work within project scope and service expectations.
  • Lead installation teams by delegating tasks appropriately and fostering teamwork.
  • Mentor Level 1 installers and support their development through feedback and guidance.
  • Maintain regular communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers.
  • Perform work on nurse call, card access, and video surveillance system projects.
  • Carry out Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) before installation to verify product quality and performance.
  • Configure, commission, and verify systems to ensure reliable operation.
  • Accept additional duties as needed to support business operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a previous construction trade.
  • Advanced knowledge of electricity, including high-voltage and/or low-voltage systems.
  • Hands-on field experience from prior work experience.
  • Basic telecommunications knowledge, including TCP/IP, networking, computers, and VoIP.
  • Ability to identify and use common low-voltage cabling.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Team management or supervisor experience.
  • Previous experience completing projects within scope and using service ticketing processes.
  • Prior knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
