Description

  • Execute Level 1 installer duties and follow documentation to maintain high installation and service standards.
  • Manage project and service tickets, providing timely updates and organized coordination with assignments.
  • Own assigned project scopes and service expectations and deliver results on schedule.
  • Lead installation teams by delegating tasks and fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Mentor Level 1 installers and solicit feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers to support project execution.
  • Configure, program, test, and commission systems and devices for successful deployment.
  • Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) on products before installation.
  • Provide basic operational training to customers after system commissioning.
  • Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems as part of project delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a construction trade.
  • Advanced knowledge of electricity, including high and/or low voltage.
  • Hands-on field experience from previous work experience.
  • Basic telecommunications knowledge, including TCP/IP, general networking, computers, and VoIP.
  • Ability to identify and use common low-voltage cabling.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Team management or supervisor experience.
  • Experience completing projects within scope and using service ticketing processes.
  • Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
