Description

  • Define the product vision, technical roadmap, and PRDs for margin engines, exposure management, anti-fraud, derivatives risk, and stress testing.
  • Translate quantitative risk models, including Monte Carlo, VaR, and volatility surfaces, into deterministic algorithms for engineering teams.
  • Define handling rules for black swan events, exchange de-pegging, and cascading liquidations.
  • Partner with Dealing and Trading Operations to deliver internal tools, real-time risk monitors, and override APIs.
  • Conduct post-incident analyses after major market movements and optimize risk parameters and engine performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience in Risk Tech, quantitative trading, crypto derivatives exchanges, or CFD brokerages.
  • Deep knowledge of cross/isolated margin, portfolio margin, A/B/C-book models, NOP aggregation, and options risk metrics.
  • Understanding of low-latency backend architecture, including lock-free concurrency, in-memory processing, IPC/shared memory, FIX, and WebSocket.
  • Strong knowledge of market microstructure, L2/L3 order books, matching engines, and liquidity bridging or routing.
  • Proficiency with Python or SQL for risk modeling, ClickHouse, and big data processing (preferred).
  • Degree or academic background in quantitative finance, applied mathematics, computer science, or financial engineering (preferred).
  • Familiarity with C++, Rust, or C# for low-latency systems (preferred).
  • Experience with crypto-native liquidation mechanisms or options pricing models (preferred).
