Description

  • Lead high-level architecture and low-level design for new Go microservices.
  • Break down complex requirements and turn designs into production-ready code.
  • Build, test, deploy, and launch foundational ISPM services within the first 6–12 months.
  • Collaborate with Product and UX teams to define and deliver security features that identify misconfigurations, over-privileged accounts, and stale identities.
  • Establish and own CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and service health monitoring and telemetry.
  • Partner with Platform Engineering to define data contracts.
  • Mentor mid-level engineers and help manage technical debt and feature detailing.
  • Participate in planning conversations with Product Managers to shape the identity management roadmap.
  • Use machine learning concepts to help build solutions for IT administrators.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of backend software development experience.
  • Expert proficiency in Go (Golang), including concurrency patterns and memory management.
  • Proven experience building event-driven systems using Kafka, Kinesis, or SQS.
  • Experience with stream processing technologies such as Apache Flink or Spark Streaming.
  • Experience modeling data in relational databases such as Postgres and NoSQL stores such as Redis or DynamoDB.
  • Deep experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, or EKS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Working interest in MLOps or model serving; you do not need to be a Data Scientist.
  • Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems that handle large data sets.
  • Bonus: prior experience with security or risk posture management tools.
  • Bonus: experience building tools for Security Operations Centers or understanding SOC concepts such as false positive fatigue, triage, and incident context.
  • Bonus: exposure to authentication standards such as OAuth, OIDC, or SAML, or experience building fraud/risk engines.
  • Bonus: experience integrating third-party threat feeds such as GeoIP or IP reputation sources.
  • Must be located in and authorized to work in India.
  • Must be able to participate in on-call shifts.
  • Must speak and write English fluently.
