Description

  • Own the technical vision and architecture for scalable, high-performance, cost-efficient systems.
  • Architect and optimize configurable, multi-tenant SaaS platforms for high throughput and seamless scaling.
  • Design self-service capabilities for workflows, rules, reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
  • Lead cloud cost-efficiency initiatives across infrastructure, model execution, and compute resources.
  • Architect distributed data pipelines and optimize data storage, retrieval, processing, governance, security, and compliance.
  • Guide engineering teams on microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud-native patterns, and architectural best practices.
  • Prototype and validate architectural decisions through technical proofs of concept.
  • Drive secure adoption of LLMs, agentic workflows, and GenAI tools across the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead the Architecture Review Council, establish standards, and facilitate cross-team architectural reviews.
  • Make complex architectural trade-offs, manage technical debt, and mentor engineering leadership.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in system architecture, data engineering, cloud engineering, or technical leadership.
  • Experience designing multi-tenant architectures and configurable SaaS frameworks.
  • Deep hands-on AWS expertise, including EKS, IAM, Lambda, and networking; GCP experience is preferred.
  • Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, caching, and high-scale transactional systems.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML model inference performance, cost trade-offs, and optimization.
  • Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Expert-level Java skills, strong Python skills, and familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and Kotlin.
  • Experience leading architectural review processes and establishing engineering standards.
  • Experience integrating GenAI and ML methodologies into the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to manage strategic stakeholders and conduct complex enterprise technology TCO analysis.
  • Experience with high-volume real-time data processing, distributed streaming, or petabyte-scale data platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with fraud prevention, identity verification, or authentication technologies is preferred.
