Description

  • Develop data strategies aligned with client objectives and industry best practices.
  • Design and oversee Databricks lakehouse, warehouse, and cloud-native implementations.
  • Integrate on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
  • Architect batch, streaming, real-time processing, and ELT/ETL solutions.
  • Ensure security, privacy, compliance, and data quality across engagements.
  • Drive performance, cost optimization, scalability, and maintainability of data solutions.
  • Lead technical discovery, solution architecture, RFP responses, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
  • Create technical blueprints and recommend tools, frameworks, and design patterns.
  • Mentor engineers, review architectures and code, and guide implementation teams.
  • Partner with sales and account teams to scope engagements and develop technical proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics architecture, governance, and cloud deployments.
  • 4+ years of client-facing experience in professional services, including scoping, architecture, and presales.
  • Demonstrated experience designing modern data lakehouses, warehouses, and pipelines on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Expert knowledge of Databricks and Spark.
  • Experience developing proofs of concept, technical presales presentations, and engagement pricing.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, macOS, Slack, and Atlassian tools.
