Description

Own original research projects from client kickoff through final delivery.
Collaborate with clients to shape research approaches and survey development.
Interpret quantitative findings and crosstab data to identify trends, implications, and report angles.
Write narrative-driven research reports that turn survey data into B2B thought leadership.
Lead client strategy sessions, present findings, and gather feedback from senior stakeholders.
Develop clear report structures and challenge assumptions to recommend the strongest narrative.
Review reports and briefs for analytical rigor, clarity, narrative strength, and editorial quality.
Work closely with data analysts and research operations throughout the research process.
Contribute occasional blogs, case studies, and other thought leadership content as needed.
Help establish editorial standards and mentor additional research writers as the team grows.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in content strategy, research, journalism, analyst work, or a related role.
Experience writing reports, white papers, or thought leadership based on original quantitative survey data.
Confidence reviewing crosstab data and developing a compelling narrative from results.
Exceptional editorial judgment and strong narrative writing ability.
Experience leading client calls and presenting strategic recommendations to senior marketing or business leaders.
B2B technology content experience and ability to translate technical concepts into accessible language.
Strong independent and strategic thinking, with comfort developing angles and structure from a dataset or broad topic.
Confidence working with numbers, data tables, and statistical findings.
Willingness to work with and improve AI-assisted first drafts.
Experience as an analyst or writer at a research firm such as Forrester, Gartner, or IDC (preferred).
Agency experience within B2B content or research services (preferred).
Experience with survey design, research methodology, or market research operations (preferred).

$3,500–$4,500 per month for full-time work.
