Description

  • Own product features end to end, from writing the specification through scoping, implementation, shipping, and metric review.
  • Work directly with product and founders to decide what to build, push back on scope when needed, and prioritize weekly work.
  • Use AI coding agents to handle code review, test generation, and boilerplate while maintaining code quality standards.
  • Own production health in your area, including bugs, incidents, test coverage, and the long-term quality of the codebase.
  • Track and improve delivery speed metrics such as lead time, throughput, and agent cycle time.
  • Use experiments and metric-based reasoning to decide whether a feature should be built or cut.
  • Refactor legacy codebases or major architectural components as needed to support product growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to deliver features that move business KPIs such as retention, conversion, and UX.

Requirements

  • English and Russian language proficiency.
  • Strong experience in product-driven companies with a focus on feature success, retention, conversion, and UX.
  • Practical experience integrating LLMs or AI tools into production applications, or a highly advanced AI-assisted development workflow.
  • Proven track record of shipping features that move business KPIs rather than only writing code.
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.
  • Commercial backend development experience with NestJS.
  • Strong frontend experience with React and/or Next.js.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including query optimization.
  • Experience working with MongoDB at scale, including 100M+ documents or 50GB+ of data.
  • Experience with RabbitMQ, HTTP/1.1, Git, and refactoring legacy systems or large architectural components.
  • Preferred: experience designing complex information system architectures from scratch.
  • Preferred: experience with Redis for caching and pub/sub.
  • Preferred: experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
