Description

  • Own the day-to-day delivery of assigned work, including clarifying requirements, managing tasks, supporting releases, and verifying production outcomes.
  • Contribute to predictable team delivery by providing realistic effort estimates, raising risks and blockers early, and communicating progress clearly.
  • Help maintain code quality through testing, code review participation, safe change practices, and attention to correctness, maintainability, security, and performance.
  • Use modern tooling, automation, and AI-assisted development in a controlled way to improve delivery efficiency and code quality.
  • Support less experienced engineers through collaboration, review feedback, and strong engineering practices.
  • Work on features and bug fixes across both front-end and back-end parts of the payroll system.
  • Implement unit tests and resolve complex bugs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help create a cohesive, productive team environment.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working on IT projects across multiple phases of the SDLC.
  • Recent C# .NET experience with at least 2 years of .NET development.
  • Experience with web front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, React, or ASP.NET Razor.
  • Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, and object-oriented programming.
  • Knowledge of software configuration management tools such as Git.
  • Familiarity with service-oriented frameworks.
  • Ability to implement features, write unit tests, and fix complex bugs.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong collaborative working style.
  • Strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Public cloud exposure, especially Azure, is a bonus.
