Description

  • Create developer content such as blog posts, videos, tutorials, screencasts, sample code, and livestreams.
  • Write sample code and contribute code to JetBrains products as needed.
  • Educate developers on how to use JetBrains technologies and tools to solve real-world problems.
  • Speak at conferences, partner events, and JetBrains events, and support booth activities.
  • Support the Business Development team with customer visits, product demos, and technical insight.
  • Build relationships and communication channels with selected customers and engage with B2B and B2C users.
  • Provide feedback and industry insights to product teams based on developer trends and user feedback.
  • Provide technical support through various channels.
  • Work with and support broader JetBrains products and technologies, including AI Assistant, Junie, TeamCity, and YouTrack.
  • Occasionally create content and support JetBrains products in game development scenarios.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of development experience.
  • Knowledge of .NET languages and technologies, including enterprise backend development.
  • Experience with ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and Blazor.
  • Some frontend development experience.
  • Good debugging and testing practices.
  • Knowledge of .NET industry needs.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • Confidence speaking in public, presenting remotely and in person, facilitating Q&A sessions, and giving product demos.
  • Strong creative skills in writing, video creation, and editing.
  • Ability to quickly understand and experiment with new technologies.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Self-organization, goal-setting, and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of JetBrains tooling such as Rider or ReSharper; dotTrace and dotMemory are a plus.
  • Established reputation in a development community is preferred.
  • Experience with JetBrains tools is preferred.
  • Experience in developer advocacy is preferred.
  • Familiarity with other programming languages such as F#, C++, or Kotlin is preferred.
  • Experience working in highly distributed, diverse teams is preferred.
  • A portfolio of speaking recordings and screencasts should be submitted with the application.
