Description

  • Create and present product content through speaking engagements, videos, blog posts, livestreams, sample code, and other formats.
  • Build and maintain relationships with global and regional developer communities and on social media.
  • Work with product teams to gather and provide feedback based on developer trends and user input.
  • Meet with customers to listen to their needs and educate them about JetBrains offerings.
  • Represent JetBrains and speak to the press on behalf of the company’s product offerings.
  • Contribute to additional work across JetBrains as needed.
  • Help close gaps in the company’s video content coverage.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with software engineering best practices, including testing, refactoring, version control, logging, tracing, and debugging.
  • Experience with C/C++ and its ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded development and interest in engaging with that community.
  • Passion for applying AI-enabled styles of software development.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to tell a compelling story about technology.
  • Self-organizing skills with strong goal-setting and time-management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Portfolio of speaking recordings and screencasts to submit with the application.
  • Experience with JetBrains tools (preferred).
  • Experience in developer advocacy (preferred).
  • Established reputation in a development community (preferred).
  • Experience with additional languages such as Rust, Python, Java, or Kotlin (preferred).
  • Experience working in highly distributed, diverse teams (preferred).
