Description

  • Lead a team of technical contributors and project managers, with direct responsibility for 2 to 4 people.
  • Partner with leadership to build and maintain a positive, inclusive, and healthy team culture.
  • Promote employee engagement, satisfaction, work-life balance, and career development within the team.
  • Maintain strong client and colleague relationships to deliver quality work on time and within budget.
  • Manage client expectations through clear communication and help team members do the same.
  • Support regional and service line leaders in cultivating and expanding client relationships.
  • Participate in business development activities to support local and service line growth.
  • Improve business processes and recommend changes that enhance service delivery.
  • Recruit, retain, train, and mentor staff on technical, project management, and business processes.
  • Set performance standards, hold regular check-ins, and coach team members to succeed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional experience in Energy and Utility services.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience preferred in technical consulting work and client relationship development.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in professional service business processes.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver sales presentations to clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to reside in and/or relocate to the Greater Seattle Area.
  • Hybrid or remote work arrangement accepted.
  • Prior business development experience is not required.
