Description

  • Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and provide a positive first impression.
  • Answer phones and support patient and visitor needs at the front desk.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
  • Ensure pre-visit requirements and authorizations are in place before patient visits.
  • Verify patient insurance, update demographic information, and collect copays accurately.
  • Coordinate patient flow and communicate with nursing staff to support safe, smooth operations.
  • Maintain an organized, stocked, and welcoming reception area.
  • Support other centers within the market during absences, openings, or high-volume periods.
  • Maintain patient records and support daily infusion center administrative operations.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of front desk or administrative experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong understanding of insurance verification, billing basics, and the patient intake process.
  • Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and patient-facing protocols.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and accurate.
  • Quick learning agility and ability to adapt to new processes quickly.
  • Adaptable and dependable, with willingness to support multiple centers and changing workflows.
