Description

  • Design and establish reusable DevOps systems and patterns across multiple SaaS products.
  • Work with the head of DevOps to develop and implement the DevOps strategy.
  • Collaborate with the wider DevOps team to establish best practices across the software development lifecycle.
  • Build tooling to automate workflows and support security requirements and certifications.
  • Standardize infrastructure and deployment implementations according to industry best practices and Ivanti guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards for builds and deployments.
  • Identify bottlenecks in DevOps processes and lead improvement projects.
  • Take a leading role in code reviews and technical discussions to help upskill the wider team.
  • Present progress, recommendations, and technical work to stakeholders.
  • Support product teams in self-serving cloud delivery where practical.

Requirements

  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure definition and state-based deployments.
  • Experience working with Azure cloud services.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and containers, including ingress, namespaces, volumes, and AKS/EKS abstractions.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines.
  • Experience with New Relic for monitoring deployments and application performance.
  • Ability to work across multiple products and contribute to shared engineering standards.
  • Experience in a leading technical role or senior DevOps capacity.
  • Experience leaving behind legacy CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo is preferred.
  • Experience supporting security compliance and certification requirements is preferred.
  • Remote role based in Scotland.
