Description

  • Design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain production web applications.
  • Develop performant, reliable, accessible user interfaces and end-to-end product experiences.
  • Build and integrate APIs and backend services.
  • Instrument applications for analytics, experimentation, and observability.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, User Research, Data Science, and Engineering to validate and iterate on solutions.
  • Create technical documentation and design artifacts that communicate architectural decisions.
  • Use product, operational, and engineering metrics to improve product quality and engineering effectiveness.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production systems.
  • Lead complex initiatives from discovery through production and guide architecture decisions (senior level).
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, pair programming, and day-to-day collaboration (senior level).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience for the mid-level role; 5+ years of experience for the senior-level role.
  • Experience building production web applications with React, Vue, or a similar framework.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript, modern HTML/CSS, and component-based architecture.
  • Strong frontend expertise in responsive design, accessibility, performance, and maintainable application architecture.
  • Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and contributing to GraphQL services or AWS Lambda functions using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with automated testing, production debugging, monitoring, and observability practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud-hosted deployment workflows, Git-based development, code reviews, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams and clearly communicate technical decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Experience using user feedback, product data, or operational metrics to inform engineering decisions.
  • For senior level: experience leading ambiguous, complex initiatives, guiding technical decisions, and mentoring other engineers.
  • Experience building AI-powered product experiences or integrating LLMs into customer-facing applications (preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship and reside in the continental United States.

  • Starting salary of $97,649–$122,061 for Software Engineer or $112,240–$140,300 for Senior Software Engineer.
