Description

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack production features across React, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, Rust, and the AchieveDXP framework.
  • Own platform components and technical initiatives from architecture and implementation through deployment, monitoring, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and operationalize AI capabilities, including LLM features, agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluations, model selection, guardrails, and secure data handling.
  • Maintain secure, reliable multi-tenant services in Azure Kubernetes environments using Helm, Terraform, ArgoCD, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, engineering standards, code reviews, testing practices, technical documentation, and platform risk resolution.
  • Collaborate with product, implementation, customer-facing, and engineering teams to clarify requirements and communicate technical tradeoffs.
  • Help redesign and scale AchieveDXP for expanded use in adult education and workforce development programs.
  • Mentor engineers, share technical knowledge, and strengthen a distributed engineering culture.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of professional experience building and supporting production software, including substantial full-stack development.
  • Experience independently owning complex or ambiguous technical problems from definition through production delivery.
  • Production experience delivering AI or LLM capabilities, including agents, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluations, and model selection.
  • Advanced proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, API design, relational databases, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with cloud-native development and operations, including containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts and tradeoffs to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and internal partners in a distributed environment.
  • Based in and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Experience with Rust, Tokio, Actix, browser automation, browser extensions, Manifest V3, proxy technologies, or network filtering preferred.
  • Experience with distributed or India-based teams, education technology, secure or regulated environments, mentoring, or technical leadership preferred.
