Description

  • Lead the strategic direction, growth plan, and day-to-day operations of the security practice.
  • Develop service offerings, go-to-market priorities, and plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities, build account strategies, and support discovery sessions.
  • Provide technical and business leadership across email security, SASE, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, SOC/MDR, and secure gateway solutions.
  • Oversee delivery quality, resource planning, utilization, and customer satisfaction across security engagements.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with security vendors and partners to support joint selling, enablement, and service delivery.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop security consultants, engineers, and practice resources.
  • Own practice-level financial performance, including forecasting, pipeline health, gross margin, and service pricing input.
  • Contribute to proposals, statements of work, service descriptions, presentations, and executive briefings.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement based on results.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, security consulting, managed security services, or related technology services.
  • Leadership or practice management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of these domains: email security, SASE/security service edge, endpoint security, vulnerability assessment and management tools, SOC/MDR solutions, or secure access/API gateway technologies.
  • Strong business acumen in practice operations, service delivery management, financial oversight, forecasting, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Ability to lead pre-sales activities including client discovery, workshop facilitation, solution positioning, proposal development, and statement of work review.
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Preferred certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
  • Relevant vendor certifications from Zscaler, Cloudflare, Microsoft Security, Cisco, Palo Alto, or similar leading cybersecurity platforms.
  • Ability to work remotely outside a reasonable commute or in a hybrid arrangement if local to the Tempe/Phoenix, Arizona area.
