Description

  • Conduct high-volume candidate sourcing and outreach primarily through Indeed, with LinkedIn as a secondary channel.
  • Proactively engage candidates from education, psychology, childcare, caregiving, and related backgrounds.
  • Run structured 30-minute phone screening interviews to assess suitability and growth potential for ABA therapist roles.
  • Evaluate candidates against core criteria including child engagement, reliability, and ability to absorb ABA concepts quickly.
  • Take detailed real-time interview notes and compile structured candidate summaries and evaluations for the hiring manager.
  • Track candidates through sourcing, screening, onboarding, and placement using the client's phone and HR systems.
  • Schedule candidates into training sessions using Microsoft Bookings and manage follow-ups to reduce drop-off.
  • Coordinate offer administration, contract distribution, and onboarding documentation through the client's HR platform, Momentium.
  • Enrol suitable candidates into the 40-hour ABA certification training programme and liaise with training teams on progress.
  • Hand active candidates over to the scheduling team once onboarding is complete and they are ready for sessions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or high-volume hiring.
  • Ability to manage 50+ candidate profiles simultaneously across multiple pipeline stages.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through Indeed or similar job boards.
  • Exposure to healthcare, education, childcare, or behavioural health environments is advantageous.
  • Strong phone-based communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly in a 30-minute call.
  • Ability to work quickly and proactively to reach strong candidates first.
  • Resilience and consistency in managing high candidate drop-off rates.
  • Strong real-time note-taking discipline and attention to detail in candidate reporting.
  • Open-minded, development-oriented approach to candidate assessment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general computer systems.
  • Experience with ATS platforms, HR onboarding platforms, or scheduling tools such as Microsoft Bookings is beneficial.
  • Comfort using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, email, and SMS communication tools.
  • Fixed fibre internet with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps upload and download and support for a wired Ethernet connection.
  • Reliable power backup solution to manage load shedding and power outages.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, including both South African and U.S. public holidays as required.
