Description

  • Conduct follow-up calls with patients to provide ongoing support throughout their care journey.
  • Help patients understand their treatment plans, medication routines, and medical guidance.
  • Encourage adherence to treatment plans and medication schedules.
  • Build rapport with patients while maintaining professionalism and compassionate communication.
  • Escalate patient concerns or risks when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and detailed patient notes.
  • Provide patient-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in healthcare, patient support, or medical administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong empathy, patience, and bedside manner.
  • Ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Computer literate with strong administrative skills.
  • Experience in medical practice management, nursing, pharmacist assistance, healthcare coordination, patient liaison, case management, psychology, or social work is preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office and general computer navigation.
  • Comfortable using CRM, EMR, or patient management systems; training will be provided.
  • Able to accurately capture notes and patient records during and after calls.

Benefits

  • Remote work from home.
  • Salary of R18 000 to R27 000 gross per month, depending on experience.
  • Compensation for working South African public holidays in accordance with the BCEA.
  • Long-term placement within a US-based client’s operations.
  • Fixed schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST.
