Description

  • Review purchase orders from healthcare facilities for budget compliance, product availability, appropriateness, and alignment with purchasing trends before processing.
  • Manage tickets for non-catalogue items by coordinating with facilities, sourcing products, securing approval, and completing purchases.
  • Track facility equipment rentals, monitor usage, prevent misuse, maintain minimum rental levels, and coordinate timely returns.
  • Process electronic invoices by matching them to purchase orders, syncing them with accounting software, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Build professional relationships with clients and suppliers while delivering responsive service.
  • Handle vendor queries, backorders, and product substitutions.
  • Support the purchasing process across multiple healthcare facilities to ensure supplies are delivered accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of exposure to procurement, purchasing, or a closely related administrative function.
  • Knowledge of purchasing or procurement processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience working with US clients is advantageous.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Logical judgment and the ability to apply concepts across scenarios.
