Description

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices by phone and email.
  • Build strong customer relationships while resolving overdue accounts.
  • Process cash applications accurately in the ERP system.
  • Maintain accurate customer account records.
  • Investigate and resolve payment queries.
  • Prepare Accounts Receivable ageing reports.
  • Provide regular reporting to management.
  • Work with internal departments to resolve account discrepancies.
  • Maintain excellent customer service throughout the collections process.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
  • Proven collections experience.
  • Experience managing the full Accounts Receivable function.
  • Confidence making outbound collection calls.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • High accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM South African time, subject to daylight saving time.
  • Willingness to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays.
  • Fixed fibre internet with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps upload and download, with wired Ethernet capability.
  • Reliable power backup for load shedding or outages.
  • Professional, confident communicator with strong emotional intelligence (preferred).
  • Able to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously and stay calm under pressure (preferred).
