Description

  • Conduct and manage client invoicing, revenue recognition, and revenue forecasting under the CFO’s leadership.
  • Manage accounts receivable, vendor portal setup and maintenance, and cash inflow reporting.
  • Maintain client records and data hygiene, including contract summaries and database updates.
  • Process employee expense reimbursements through payroll.
  • Assist with sales and use tax exposure assessment and ensure taxes are invoiced or remitted on time.
  • Support month-end close, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
  • Prepare timely GAAP financial reports, including monthly financial statements and forecast-versus-actual variance reports.
  • Assist with financial statement audits by responding to requests and maintaining audit-ready accounting files.
  • Document and update accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience in an accounting role on a small team.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP standards and regulations, including ASC 606.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience creating financial statements.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software platforms.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas, functions, and data analysis.
  • Strong discipline, personal organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
  • Demonstrated hunger for personal and professional growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Ability to include a short note, work experience summary, and public profiles with the application.
