Description

  • Own the full QA lifecycle for assigned features and releases, from requirements review through test planning, execution, defect tracking, and sign-off.
  • Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and edge-case scenarios.
  • Build, maintain, and scale automated test frameworks and scripts to reduce manual effort and increase confidence.
  • Perform exploratory, functional, regression, performance, and API testing across the ASP.NET / SQL Server / Azure-hosted SaaS platform.
  • Review system requirements, user stories, and technical design documents early in the development cycle to identify risks and provide QA feedback.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data engineers to identify, document, reproduce, and verify defect resolution.
  • Monitor and report QA metrics such as defect density, test coverage, open defect counts, and release readiness.
  • Investigate root causes of non-conforming software and drive process improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Stay current with evolving QA methodologies, tools, and industry trends, especially in automation, AI-assisted testing, and SaaS quality practices.

Requirements

  • Full-time availability for a remote-work position.
  • Experience with test automation is essential.
  • Exposure to AI-driven testing approaches is a strong differentiator.
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with developers and product managers.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Technical familiarity with ASP.NET, SQL Server, and Azure-hosted SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with open-source and enterprise testing tools for automation.
  • Ability to analyze QA metrics and support data-informed release decisions.
