Description

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand customer integrity programs, data systems, and workflows and convert them into implementation plans.
  • Guide customers through migration and mapping of ILI datasets, GIS models, corrosion and CP databases, and field NDE records into AIP/CIM.
  • Validate and QA customer data loads, including unit conversions, stationing alignment, anomaly classification mapping, and data integrity checks.
  • Configure AIP platform modules to match customer integrity management processes, regulatory requirements, and data governance standards.
  • Deliver on-site and remote training for integrity engineers, GIS analysts, and operations teams.
  • Write and validate SQL scripts, data transformation queries, and ETL routines for loading and reconciling pipeline integrity datasets.
  • Support API and GIS integrations between AIP and customer systems such as Esri ArcGIS, PODS databases, SCADA feeds, and ILI vendor platforms.
  • Build reusable implementation playbooks, data mapping templates, and configuration guides.
  • Troubleshoot data quality and integration issues and escalate product gaps to the engineering team as the operator advocate.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical pipeline role such as integrity engineer, pipeline data analyst, GIS specialist, or integrity management consultant.
  • Hands-on experience with ILI data from vendors such as ROSEN, Baker Hughes, Applus+, or NDT Global.
  • Working knowledge of MFL, UT, EMAT, and IMU technologies.
  • Familiarity with anomaly classification, B31G/RSTRENG fitness-for-service methods, and corrosion growth modeling.
  • Proficiency with PODS data models (5.x/6.x/7.x) and experience with Esri ArcGIS, APDM, and UPDM.
  • Ability to map customer GIS schemas and work with linear referencing and stationing frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of cathodic protection data, including CIS, DCVG/ACVG surveys, and test points.
  • Familiarity with ECDA/ICDA processes and field NDE data types.
  • Solid understanding of 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195, ASME B31.8S, API 1160, and the PHMSA Mega Rule.
  • SQL proficiency with the ability to write, read, and debug queries against pipeline integrity databases; SQL Server or Azure SQL preferred.
  • Experience with data migration or ETL projects involving ILI, GIS, or PODS datasets.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present to engineering teams and executive stakeholders in a remote-first environment.
  • Direct operator or midstream experience as a pipeline integrity or corrosion engineer is preferred.
  • Python scripting for data processing or ETL is preferred, along with exposure to Databricks or Azure Data Factory.
  • Familiarity with Irth AIP/CIM or AI/ML applications in pipeline integrity such as anomaly prediction or risk scoring is preferred.
