Description

Participate in client discovery calls with Account Managers and Sales teams to gather technical requirements and business objectives.
Translate discovery findings into structured technical solution outlines and implementation plans.
Ask clarifying questions to define scope boundaries, technical dependencies, and implementation considerations.
Develop labor estimates and project effort models using internal estimation frameworks.
Draft statements of work, pricing inputs, and technical solution summaries.
Identify third-party vendor requirements and coordinate vendor outreach for pricing and feasibility.
Validate solution assumptions with internal engineering and project delivery teams.
Maintain standardized scoping templates, pricing assumptions, and documentation libraries.
Support architects with complex or multi-system project scoping.
Assist with change orders by evaluating scope changes and recalculating effort.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in an MSP, IT services, consulting, or solutions engineering environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud infrastructure.
Working knowledge of endpoint management platforms.
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
Working knowledge of identity and access management.
Experience participating in technical discovery calls with clients.
Ability to estimate technical implementation effort with strong attention to detail.
Strong written communication skills for client-facing documentation.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple scoping requests simultaneously.
C1 or higher proficiency in English.
Experience working in an MSP or managed IT services environment (preferred).
Familiarity with ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar PSA platforms (preferred).
Prior exposure to vendor procurement or third-party service coordination (preferred).
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks or tools (preferred).
Exposure to security frameworks or compliance initiatives such as SOC 2 or HIPAA (preferred).
Dedicated home office environment with stable internet connection.
Availability to work 8:00am–5:00pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Competitive compensation of $25,000–$35,000 USD annually, depending on experience.
Open-ended contract.
Performance-based bonus structure with OTE of $40,000–$45,000 USD.
