Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend systems using Java, PHP, and other object-oriented languages.
  • Write and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
  • Contribute to microservices architecture and scalable software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and help enforce maintainability and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teammates in Agile/Scrum workflows.
  • Apply test-driven development practices to build reliable and testable systems.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work on next-generation communication systems that support voice, messaging, and omnichannel capabilities.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of software development experience using one or more object-oriented programming languages.
  • Java experience is required.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with modern frameworks such as Laravel, Spring Boot, Quarkus, or similar.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB and NoSQL systems such as MongoDB.
  • Experience with message queues and streaming platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems, CLI tools, and Git version control.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and unit/integration testing practices.
  • Familiarity with ELK Stack, Redis, or similar tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • PHP experience is a bonus.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or containerized environments is a plus.
  • Background or interest in telecom, including familiarity with SIP, SMPP, WebRTC, or similar protocols, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
  • Exposure to frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or community involvement are a plus.
