Description

  • Generate new mortgage business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective borrowers and referral partners.
  • Achieve loan production and business development goals consistently.
  • Guide borrowers through the mortgage application process with clear communication and strong customer service.
  • Evaluate clients’ financial needs and recommend appropriate mortgage solutions.
  • Convert leads into funded loans while delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
  • Collaborate with processors, underwriters, and cross-functional teams to keep the loan process efficient and smooth.
  • Collect, review, and maintain accurate loan documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current on mortgage products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license is required.
  • Experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer, Mortgage Loan Originator, or in a related mortgage lending role.
  • Demonstrated success in generating mortgage business and converting leads into funded loans.
  • Strong sales, business development, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Spanish proficiency is preferred.
  • Experience with mortgage origination systems and CRM platforms is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products and residential lending practices is preferred.
