Description

  • Own the integration roadmap for Connected Stores, including strategy, scope, and prioritization of third-party integrations.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of complex integrations from discovery and design through launch and scale.
  • Partner with Engineering, Partnerships, Solution Architecture, and external vendors to execute integration programs.
  • Represent Instacart with retailers and software providers to secure buy-in, define data contracts, and ensure technical fit.
  • Ship first-of-a-kind integrations that support new AI products and emerging integration archetypes.
  • Draft requirements, timelines, deliverables, SOWs, and SLAs, and negotiate partner responsibilities.
  • Manage risk, dependencies, and trade-offs across competing internal and external priorities.
  • Define KPIs and build feedback loops to improve integration velocity, reliability, and data quality.
  • Resolve conflicts and remove blockers in a highly cross-functional environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience focused on backend, platform, or API products.
  • 2+ years leading multiple third-party integrations with enterprise customers or vendors from technical discovery to go-live.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder integration programs end to end.
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to C-suite stakeholders and collaborating deeply with engineering.
  • Experience running partner scope reviews and negotiating SOWs and SLAs.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency with APIs and data contracts.
  • Comfort using AI tools to accelerate PM workflows, while still being able to write PRDs without them.
  • Retail technology domain expertise across POS, inventory, loyalty, coupons, or store operations platforms is preferred.
  • Experience building or integrating AI/ML or computer vision capabilities is preferred.
  • Background in integration reliability and data quality, including monitoring, observability, alerting, error budgets, and SLAs, is preferred.
  • Experience handing off work to internal teams to scale, such as through playbook writing, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with privacy, security, and compliance for retail data, including PCI considerations, PII handling, and data retention policies, is preferred.

Benefits

  • Highly market-competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Base salary range of $189,000 to $199,500 USD for CA, NY, CT, and NJ.
  • Base salary range of $181,000 to $191,000 USD for WA.
  • Base salary range of $174,000 to $183,500 USD for OR, DE, ME, MA, MD, NH, RI, VT, DC, PA, VA, CO, TX, IL, and HI.
  • Base salary range of $158,000 to $166,500 USD for all other states.
  • Remote role with Flex First work flexibility.
  • Eligible for a new hire equity grant and annual refresh grants.
